How it works

  1. After your enquiry, I will contact you to offer a free consultation. At the consultation we can discuss your research goals and any information you already know.
  2. I will then send you the outline of the agreed research goal(s) along with my quotation, Terms of Engagement and Privacy Policy.
  3. If you decide to engage me in research, I will keep in touch throughout the process.
  4. Research findings are tailored to the research project – either a report, family tree or both. The findings can be delivered in your preferred format – for example hard copy, digital or GEDCOM genealogical data file.

What will you receive?

  • A detailed research report – this will include a summary of research findings, breakdown of searches carried out, analysis of documents used in the search, sources used and suggestions for further research.
  • Any charts relevant to research – for example pedigree or descendant family tree charts.
  • Copies of documents used in research – for example any birth, marriage or death certificates.
